You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Cornelius would waddle into the tent in search of food after a long days travel from his old home. Bags filled under his eyes and his stomachs growled as he trotted along the path, his old home distancing from him. He discovered a tent with a tasteful smell deciding to enter. Startled by the womans pressence he let out a heavy gasp and jumped back. "You scared me hag," he huffed out followed by him spitting on the floor, "What you mean my story? I was kicked out from my home. I ate all the food supply we had left... and they kicked me out. To be fair I ate all our winter rations. However! I am a very hungry man." He grumbled walking over to her. A sword the size of him swung at his side, and as he approached he reached for it. Pointing it to the hag he threatened, "You got something worth my time lady? I gots a stomach to feed. It is a bottomless pit in there, why my wife left as well, said I eat too much, she can't keep up with all the cooking," He said chuckling as he took his free hand to pat his hungry belly. With no response from the woman besides a pointing finger to a stew that had been cooking in the corner was enough to sell Cornelius. Waddling over to the pot his endulged. A mouth full he continued, "I am looking for a new home, one with LOTS of food and women who like to cook." Once finished he turned to give the woman some sort of thank you, but she was gone. Shrugging he off he continued on his journey.
