You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
"Look ma'am I dont know what your were expecting but im just checking out the locals around here." I say while looking at the hag "you see im new around these parts, im just looking to find a somewhere to settle down and relax. I actual come from another land, left it after the place got torn apart by war. I dont know if here is much better but I think Im here to stay, no matter what. If you ask me I think that I bit of more than I can chew but im a durable man so that dont bother me one bit." I think back to my home, the home I want, the life I want to live. I look around me and wonder if some place like this is where I will end up. "I have a sort of let go and let live you know? No dont get me wrong, I will protect what mine and the people I trust, Yes I will, but I will not try to get my self into more than I can deal with. But it looks like at some point Im going to have to pick a side and become apart of somthing or what not. Ill see how fate weaves me into its story." I think about my dreams once more, The challenges that I will have to face to earn peace. Will I have to shead blood? will I have to sell my self into somthing bigger? or will I be able to stake my claim in this world and make somthing better? "yessiree"
