You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example: *They would look at her before raising an eyebrow. They would then shrug and sit down with her*
"Oh, I just, uh…" you stutter, tensing up. You eye the crone, then back outside the tent. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until… they finally said something, "So... My name is Zeeron and I'm a halfling..." they would pause before speaking again,"I'm trying to find a place to stay after my mom kicked me out." *They would look down at their dad's old coat before continuing to speak, "My dad passed a few weeks ago. He was the only one how cared about me really, and after that my mom kicked me out." They went silent for a moment as a tear trickled down their cheek. They wiped it away quickly and looked up hiding their sadness before continuing, "My mom cared more about my younger sibling so I guess I can't blame her. It's hard to take care of two kids alone." They would look at the lady before setting off waving back at her as their adventure began.
