    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: I have role-played on other servers before so I have a good concept of what metagaming is. Metagaming is the act of using knowledge gained OOC in role-play(IC), such as a person hearing about the location of the key to a certain chest via discord and using that information to find the key and unlock the chest IC. The person in question would have had to learn the whereabouts of the aforementioned key by some means in role-play else the attainment of the key is illegitimate and metagaming.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is essentially making one's character overpowered, such as being: able to dodge any attack, immune to all ailments, masterful with any weapon, invincible etc. This provides an unfair experience to all role-players involved. Also, immortality gets old (See what I did there? ;D)
