    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: when a character in-game knows something they should not. for example John knowing that Timmy is a wizard (even though Timmy hides it) because he is friends with Timmy's creator. This includes phoning a friend too help you in-game.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: when a character is more powerful than they should be. for example: Timmy a frail old man kicking a young and healthy John in the face and John turns to dust.

♥ Being born in Atlas isn't possible for your character as lands of Atlas came out in year 1643, and currently it's year 1661.

 

♥ Please include one more server lore reference in your application, simple 'Atlas' doesn't really give us  the image that you would have been reading lores of the server a lot.
