You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Khalil takes a seat next to the old hag, criss-crossing her legs to make herself comfy. "Zome zay da thief'z onlah as hozh az da zcore," she blankly states. She bore her teeth in a ferocious smile, jagged and wide, before continuing. "Mi zay it's da legacy, da reputation lat built." With that, she pops a lemon-drop in her mouth, pouting at the tart and sour treat. "Zure, lat can zteal gemztonez agh make latz rich, anyone wit a brain could. But it takez a genuz to dizmantle another geniuz' psyche," she says, not that she'd qualify as a genius.
Her mind wanders; thoughts and memories flood her skull, where can she even begin? "Have lat ever wanted zomething zo bad, but it wuz wrong?" She doesn't wait for an answer, not that she'd get one anyways. "H'dub yearz ago- Yah, not a lot of time, mi know- h'dub yearz ago, Mi culd've been well on mi way ta richez unknown," she says, her toothy grin growing into a scowl. "Til a uruk I once called family sold me out for petty cash. Can y'believe that?! Zold out! For reward mon?!" A scoff leaves her mouth. She quickly rose to her feet, angry all over again. "Mi could've been da most innovative tunzantar uf all time, mind lat, bat zhe zold mi out! All mi equipment, mi zavings, agh mi image are dead." She abruptly stops, taking a deep breath and turning her attention back to the old hag. "Hey, 'preciate that lat let mi vent-"
To Khalil's surprise, she was nowhere to be found. She quickly started patting herself down, her coin pouch nowhere to be found. "Lazt time mi truzt anybody wit a ztory," she grumbles, shuffling away.
