You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example: "Oh, okay!" She would sit down and get comfortable. "Well I guess I can tell you from what I remember.. At a young age, I was abandoned by my mother. My father passed away in a sword fight with a criminal before I was born, so I never got to meet him. My mother did not want me in the first place, so she sent me to a fosterage. I was raised there until I turned 18. I've only been out in the real world for so long, and I have too much to learn that was not taught to me. I just recently moved here.. I dont know how you knew I was coming here. How.. did you know, anyway?" She bats her eyes and looks extremely confused at the woman.
The woman would reply simply. "I have many ways of knowing these things, ways you could simply just not fathom. Now, Shoo! I have things to do, missy!"
"Oh, I just, uh…" you stutter, tensing up. You eye the crone, then back outside the tent. For a moment, the air thickens with anticipation, until…
