Hom 804 Share Posted Thursday at 04:41 PM (edited) — THE CHANCELLOR NOMINEES — From the Heartlandic Council to the People Issued and averred by the office of In light of the retirement of His Eminence, Frantzisko Cardinal Albarosa as Chancellor of the Heartlands, the three electoral bodies of the Chancellor’s Office have met to put forth a single nomination each for the Chancellor elections. These nominees have been vetted and voted upon by each governing body, selected by their peers, and approved by the monarchs. They have expressed willingness to take on the task of leading our Confederation into the future, and have shown great integrity in doing so. The nominations are as follows: NOMINATION OF THE KNIGHTLY ORDER OF SAINT PETER Lady-Mayor Amelie Auclair NOMINATION OF THE GARMONT ASSEMBLY Duke Aurel von Theonus NOMINATION OF THE HEARTLANDIC COUNCIL Baron Louis-Caspian de Rosius Though all candidates have impressed the governing bodies, only one shall be selected by the people to be their Chancellor. On the 14th of Tobias’ Bounty, 1983, [OOC: 2PM EST, SATURDAY THE 29TH] the three candidates will convene in the The Plane Theatre in Whitespire to express their policies and goals as Chancellor in a round of debate. The nominees will answer a set of questions issued by the Grand Speaker, after which the audience will be invited to ask their own questions of each candidate. A full and accurate transcript of the debate will be released within 24 Saint’s Hours of its conclusion, with voting opening soon after. Voting will remain open after this point for 48 Saint’s Hours. Attendance of the debate, or close reading of the transcript, is highly recommended for informed voting. The Chancellor that the Heartlands chooses will shape its future for many years to come.
