He was born to a wandering tribe who after the fall of Tharbad have been slowly hunted down and depleted in number due to the constant migrations and inter clan wars. He received no formal education instead learning hunting from his father which he would then teach his brother Rufus. The biggest event was the burning of his families camp at the hands of a rival tribe where both his parents were killed. This sparked his hatred of fire. Since then he has wondered the Trollshaws with his brother hardening them them to the harsh world around them.
