You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” ((How do you respond?)) Example: "Thank you." He sits down. "Now for my story. I come from a long family of warriors that fought in many wars. One day, my father was out in battle again as he did so often." He shifts position. "Before, he always came back with stories, but not this time. We received a message that he was killed in battle by a mage. I was 5 at that time. From that moment, my mother banned all magic in our house. But after years, when I turned 15, I told my mother my goal: To learn magic, find the mage that killed dad and to avenge his death." He takes a sip of water from his waterskin. "When I told her that, my mother and all family that I still had abandoned me with the words: In this household, there will be no magic and no magicuser. If you want to find him, fine. But dont think we will be there for you! Since then, I have been out searching for more magic, to become more powerful and to find the wizard that killed my father. And I will only stop once I find him or I die!"
