    I don't like seeing MC names on wanted posters. Couldn't you get a "drawing" of their skin/head, use descriptive words, anything but straight up putting the MC name? :I

    This is very well thought out and written! I love the idea of rituals, cultists with tattoos and adverse physical affects. I agree with Ben, though. Rather than insanity, how about something like temporary hallucinations? Or terrors? Rather than sensory illusion or the like, this would be a creation of the mind, so while the general idea is that it would be something scary and threatening, that thing would vary from character to character.
