My words echo some of those above me. These long ass 'feedback' posts by no means represent the majority. They represent the minority who just happen to have really loud mouths. Most of us are pretty happy, from what I gather. I highly doubt much of anyone takes that other thread seriously.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?:
Telekinesis
 
Summarise the Lore of this magic(s):
Telekinesis involves using one’s connection to the void to move objects which are non-organic by using mana anchors. With these anchors, one can alter the gravity and move an object in any given direction. Over the course of learning, along with practise, the number and weight of objects being moved can be increased. The velocity and distance can also be increased over the course of time. 

One cannot manipulate an object through a wall, or any sort of solid material for that matter. And one cannot use it to move anything organic whatsoever. 
 
Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student:

Silhern would be sitting down in his room, his nose in a book as his foot taps the floor impatiently.

[!] A knock is heard at his door, shortly after another Mali walking inside, bowing his head slightly as he does so. 

“Took you long enough.” Silhern would let out, setting his book down on an end table. “You’re late. Sit down, we’re going to begin.”

The student moves to sit. “Sorry, Silhern. I was caught up in something. Are we leaving off where we started?”

“Aye. You already know how to connect to the void, and you’ve moved a pebble. It’s time to move forward.” he’d utter out, motioning his hand towards the book on the end table. “I believe I told you that you can’t move anything organic, yes?”

“You did.” he’d say with a light nod. “The book, then?”

“Clearly.” he’d simply state, leaning back slightly as he simply observes his student at this point.

The student’s shoulder twitches, his gaze moving to focus upon the book, his eyes narrowing slightly. He’d simply sit like that for a few moments, as he works on concentrating.

[!] A short time later, the book would shift slightly, before moving a bit quicker and falling off the end table with a thud. The student relaxing as he smiles slightly, looking to Silhern.

“Good work.” Silhern would say, giving the student a firm nod. “Keep practising for a few Elven weeks. Next time, you shall be moving something after I throw it in the air.” he’d pause for a moment, his voice growing stern. “And next time, don’t be late.”
