Vesmund is a Highlander of the Halseti Culture, hailing from the Kingdom of Norland, Vjorhelm. His father was a huntsman, a traveler of wilderness in search of jobs that offer coin, in order to make a living for his small family. Vesmund, at a young age, was the contrast of the man he is now; a happy-go-lucky child with the characteristics of an immature little brat. Only when his father began to teach him how to hunt for food in the outer forests of Vjorhelm. Vesmund proved a soft-heart at first, unable to finish what he started once he landed an arrow at the sight of the pained noises of the animal. However, with the forceful teachings of his battle hardened father, Vesmund slowly progressed and shaped into a real man with little fear. Striving to grow up into a man akin to his father, Vesmund set out on a journey to become a warrior with the axe he carried.
At the age of twenty six, Vesmund was amongst those who enlisted to fight in the Battle of the Bloody Road during the Third Crusade. Displaying remarkable skills in war and a near unrivaled bloodlust, Vesmund hacked and sliced through the field while also sustaining major injuries himself. At the end of the day, the battle was won, and Vesmund was amongst the many ranks who served greatly to the Kingdom of Norland. During the siege of Vjorhelm, his homeland, Vesmund's father and mother were murdered. In rage, Vesmund began to defend his homeland with his life on the line, and received deadly wounds in the process that left behind scars on his ripped figure. With the forfeit and flee of his King, a glazed-eyed Vesmund witnessed the declaration of the new Norland King.
Exiling himself from his homeland and throwing himself into the wilderness, Vesmund spent way over ten years living as a hedge warrior, professionalizing on the same occupation as his now deceased father. Known throughout the lands of Ruriksgrad for his brutality and lust for blood, Vesmund was painted a figure to be feared in the surrounding villages. Now aged fourty six, endlessly carrying his axe and shield through the fields of Norland, Vesmund, hardened by battle, his emotions frozen by his experiences, continues to struggle against the hardships of life.
