Esseck enjoys three simple things: good drinks, good friends, and good women.
She was born and raised in a small but tight-knit community of Forest Dwarves, who will tell you she was swinging an axe from the moment she could pick one up (this made for quite the dangerous toddler). She lived on Atlas, without knowledge of the events on Axios until her little town was swallowed up by the Kingdom of Kaz'Ulrah in 1647. This brought a market for her family's lumber and furniture and wooden trinkets, and overall a better quality of life for her community.
Strong and solidly built, she always carries an axe where it is permitted. Her palms are thick and rough with callouses, and her fingers are rather short, making fine motor tasks more difficult. Ironically enough, her brothers were always the ones who do the "dainty work" in her family, and that was perfectly fine by her. She'd rather cut and haul lumber than give herself a headache trying to see those little figures and symbols...
